Cornhusker Nationals 1997
The meet was held in Doniphan. There were about 590 shooters. The National Guard had a
display at the meet. Included in the display was a grenade launcher. Someone brought a
dummy grenade and launched it during the meet. Noone was hurt but the bru-ha-ha went
through December as authorities tried to determine which Guard member brought the
grenade.
